What do I believe in?
These beliefs form the foundation of my practice, guiding how I counsel and support each family with care, respect, and understanding.
-
The uniqueness of each family
Each family has its own story, own ways, own characteristics and I love that. I am not here to judge you, I am here to support you. Every case I work on starts from this principle. In every step of the way, together, we will find strategies that work for your family in a specific moment or stage of your lives.
-
The power of parents and caregivers
I believe that parenting is about parents and caregivers. All that we, as adults, can do impacts children and impacts families as a whole. That is why, for me, working with parents is the most effective way to impact families positively.
-
The importance of concrete guidance
Children do not come with an instruction book, but family counsellors have concrete tools and strategies that do help and give structure to your parenting. The tools or strategies recommended during my sessions have been used by other families for many years and have brought positive results.
